Trudy Kinghan

Before entering the tax world, Trudy was General Manager of Foreign Exchange at Thomas Cook NZ, leading growth, product development, and Reserve Bank licensing. She was later based in London, supporting the company’s global FX operations.

With a strong background in banking, foreign exchange, and general management, Trudy now focuses on business and tax advisory. She works closely with clients on growth strategies, asset protection, and business structuring.

Trudy is also an experienced property investor, with residential and commercial holdings across NZ including Auckland, Bay of Islands, Southland, and Whananaki.

She holds an Accounting degree and a Postgraduate Diploma in Taxation.

  • Two GST papers presented (Mr Cliff Mancer delivered two research papers in 1999 co-authored by himself and Trudy Kinghan at a taxation seminar in Australia. Mr Mancer was then Senior Lecturer at Massey University and past editor of Staples Guide to New Zealand Tax Practice )

In general, I like to keep fit, currently strength train and play for Cricket Clubs. I like to travel, catch waves on the beach and skii during winter.

David Shen

David is a Senior Accountant based in our Howick branch. He brings over 15 years of specialised expertise in the local accounting industry, focusing on public service. He holds a BCom degree from the University of Auckland.

His adept understanding of SME business operations and tax compliance consultancy is unparalleled. As a Chartered Accountant, he demonstrates a profound level of professional competence.

Outside of work, David likes traveling, swimming and reading.

Glenn Scott

Glenn is our manager based in the Howick branch. Prior to becoming an accountant, he worked in the commercial sector for 5 years. He brings this knowledge to his experience in the business advisory and taxation areas of accounting. He also has an interest in and has been involved in property investment in the past.

When not at work, he enjoys spending time with his young family who keep him busy.

Mahitab M

Mahitab is the new addition to Kinghans Limited, based in Howick branch. Prior to working at Kinghans, she worked as an accountant in Global Accounting Firm in India. She also has the experience of working as an Assistant Professor for 4 years.

Currently, she in the process of completing her CPA. From her roles, she has accumulated varied knowledge of accounting and reporting.

Outside of work, Mahitab likes spending time with family and friends and also loves to travel and explore new things.

Jasmine Khairmohammed

Marketing Consultant  

Jasmine joined our team in 2019. Before joining us, she gained experience through various work and internships in the field of communications and digital marketing. Her passion for assisting others and her eagerness to acquire new skills in order to better serve our clients sets her apart.

As a Marketing Consultant for Kinghans, Jasmine oversees our website, branding and marketing, curating engaging content for our social media platforms, and executing newsletter campaigns.

Outside of work, she enjoys engaging in various activities. She spends her leisure time playing basketball, expanding her knowledge by learning new skills, unwinding at the beach, travelling to new countries, and writing her travel blogs!

As the youngest staff member, Juno didn't hesitate to get straight into work.

She specialises in greeting new clients at the door, and making sure everybody is having a happy day, despite the weather!

Linda Drew

Linda was the owner and managing director of Drew Accounting and has now joined us as Client Relationship Manager at Kinghans Limited. She is also a member of ATAINZ. With over 20 years of accounting experience, she is passionate about helping clients manage and grow their businesses by offering real-time advice on a personal level.

Linda loves ongoing contact with clients and feels that we can offer a valuable and truly worthwhile service for business owners. Before taking on the challenge of growing her own business, she had experience working in banking in both NZ and overseas and also worked as an accountant for several firms.

Linda loves reading, getting in the garden, travelling, and spending time socialising with family and friends.

Bhavik Shah

Bhavik is an ATAINZ member and joined the team in May 2023. Bhavik is an account’s assistant who will be handling various accounting tasks and supporting our admin operations to help us run efficiently.

Bhavik holds Bachelor of Commerce as well as a master’s degree in professional accounting so his skills will be a great asset to the team!

Bhavik enjoys listening to audiobooks and has a keen interest in snorkelling.

Kay Le joined our team in October 2023. She brings her expertise to the preparation of year-end accounts for clients and provides essential support with GST returns, among other responsibilities as needed.

Kay holds a Bachelor of Business with a major in Finance & Accounting, and a Postgraduate Degree in Professional Accounting. She is also a Provisional Member of Chartered Accountants (CA), demonstrating her commitment to professional excellence.

Outside of work, Kay enjoys spending quality time with her family and nurturing her two young children. She loves traveling with them and exploring new places.

Ethan Rush

Ethan joined the team in December 2019 and now oversees our business development. He graduated from the University of Auckland in 2021 with a bachelor of commerce majoring in marketing and management.

Ethan is with us two days a week and also works as a Pastor outside of Kinghans Accounting.

In his spare time, Ethan enjoys drumming, working out in the gym and playing football.
